The UNIDOCKU33 USB 3.0 Universal HDD/SSD Docking Station allows you to instantly connect to your 2.5" or 3.5" IDE and SATA hard drives via two top loading hard drive slots, saving you the hassle of installing the drives in a computer or in an external enclosure or bay.

The top feed design allows the SATA and IDE hard drives to stand upright in the docking station for a clean and neat desktop and a convenient and orderly installation. For SATA HDDs, the HDD can be placed and connected directly through the designated docking bay while the IDE HDD bay is conveniently located near the rear panel's 40-pin data and LP4 power connectors making it easy to connect the docking station using the included IDE data and power cables.

A single USB 3.0 connection to your host computer allows you to connect to both the IDE hard drive and the SATA hard drive simultaneously - a convenient solution for transferring data from an IDE drive to a SATA drive or vice versa. The docking station can also be used to significantly increase your computer system's storage and backup capacity with support for high-capacity hard drives (tested with up to 6 TB 3.5" and 2 TB 2.5" hard drives)

Enhanced performance with UASP

UASP is supported by Windows 8, Mac OSX (10.8 or later) and Linux. In tests, UASP delivers 70% faster read speeds and 40% faster write speeds over standard USB 3.0.

At the same time, UASP tests showed an 80% reduction in CPU resource usage.

Tests were conducted with an Intel Ivy Bridge system, a StarTech.com UASP-capable enclosure, and a SATA III SSD.
